My favorite payphone

| I recently got this payphone off of ebay. I put it on a wood desk mount that I had from another phone. This is now my favorite payphone; note that it is one of the Phone Center modified ones (judging from the dial center that I have seen on other PC phones) with what may be a special paint job. A fat brown handset cord would really improve the phone visually.
Two questions:
A. Was there a WECo Service Center in Syracuse, NY?
B. Who was "Charlie? He must have been well liked. |
