| The "caps" over the fuses on some Western Electric line protectors are embossed with a letter, such as A or B. Other caps are plain and smooth. I am no expert, but I am guessing the letter or the absence of a letter indicates some information for the installer. In my limited experience, the only letters I have seen embossed on these caps are A or B. Does any member know the reason for the embossed letters or no letter at all? Were there any other letters used? |
