R1A ringer details

| Complete R1AW kit as delivered. Cover marked "Western Electric", and perforated with small holes for ringer sound while retaining electrical shielding. Aluminum cover was pop-riveted to deep-drawn aluminum base. Special shielded 2-conductor cable assembly was included. Filter apparently designed to pass only the frequency for bridged ringer without DC or higher AC (audio or RF) frequencies.
