Here are 2 Line Drawings (not photos) depicting Holtzer-Cabot's Brass-Bottom Long Pole Receiver. The "defining Characteristic", if you can call it that, is that these receivers were "factory tuned", and not able to be adjusted in the field for sensitivity. The round-head bolt you see on the Terminal end was to merely "attach" the Wafer and Terminals to the single-pole magnet, g.g., it did not provide for any Receiver adjustment.
