| How long will our copper telephone plant be maintained?
The lashing has been failing on this cable for more than a year. I am not sure when the two wooden anti-chafing protectors were installed. The boxes are not even tied to the sagging cable.
This cable is on Ringwood Avenue in Menlo Park, CA. It belongs to AT&T, aka SBC, aka Pacific Telephone outside plant. My phone service may be via this cable - I hope not.
