By way of industrial archeology, the front white cover was dated 1978, while the electrical/electronic components are dated as late as 1982. Apparently, the plastic was purchased as a lot for use over time. Interestingly, the rear gray cover has no date -- probably made by a different location, possibly of different material. Overall construction techniques are a lot like the Dataphone sets being made at the same time. |
