June 1950 WECo 500 set

| This is one of the first 500 sets manufactured by WECo. Note the placement of the word "Operator" on the number ring. This position was changed later in 1950 to an arc outside the "0" which position endured throughout its production with millions and millions made. This set will be on display next Saturday morning (Sept. 1) at the TCI show next week in Erlanger KY. You are invited to come, take a look and take pictures if you wish. The show will also be a fine opportunity for you to find those telephones and parts that you have been looking for. |
